Winter Fun

Today we woke up to 2 inches of snow. We decided to go outside and play. First JJ started to shovel the sidewalk. He did such a nice job. We then continued to shovel the driveway. As Jim finished the driveway JJ made a Frosty "snowman". We worked on making snowballs and throwing them. When we were all done with our snowman JJ gave him a big hug. It wasn't the best packing snow, but he turned out alright.

He is always looking out for her

Reese started coughing today and JJ stopped what he was doing, ran over to Reese and said, "Reese need help?!" When he realized she was ok he said, "yeah Reese" and went back to playing. A little bit later she was crying so JJ offered her his blanket.

Such a Big Girl

Reese is eating all solid food. When she looks at puréed food now she gets upset and wants the real stuff. Steak here we come.

She is a Snacker

After JJ showed Reese how it was done she was able to use the snack container with ease. We were all enjoying watching her figure it out. Especially Slyder!

Sledding Fun

JJ went over to his friend Tana's house for some sledding fun in her backyard. They had such a great time outside and then proceeded to run around inside for 2 hours. I don't know where they get their energy.

I Guess He Was Tired!

I was talking with Jim on the phone while at work. He was telling me that jj had a good lunch and Reese was just finishing up her lunch. All of a sudden he said wow. I asked him what had happened and he told me that JJ had just gone into his room, shut the door, and turned on the sound machine. He then looked around and said that he couldn't see his blanket meaning that JJ had taken his blanket and put himself to bed. Sure enough Jim went to check on him and that is what he had done. Amazing!

Oh Boy

JJ can now open doors! I had put him down to bed and checked on him twice when I heard a noise. I was in the kitchen and saw a flash of light at the end of the hallway. I then heard the door close and proceeded to check it out. To my surprise JJ was standing outside his door holding on to his blanket and said, " hi mama, I up! My reply was, you opened the door!?". I then put him back to bed. Wow, between him being in a big boy bed, opening doors, and Reese walking EVERYWHERE. There are no boundaries anymore. What will we do?!
